James Thurber wrote, “I loathe the expression, “what makes him tick.” It is the American mind, looking for a simple and singular solution that uses the foolish expression. A person not only ticks, he also chimes and strikes the hour, falls and breaks and has to be put together again. And sometimes stops like an electric clock in a thunderstorm.”

My slightly less famous childhood friend, Kenny said something similar, “It takes all kinds.” He meant, “You are very strange and perhaps there is no help for you”.  We all feel that way at times.

The conclusion?  People are not simple, we are complicated. Communicating is not simple, it is complicated.  This program will help you consider what goes wrong in getting through to others and the steps you can take to make it go right.

In this hands-on program you will experience helpful models, engaging case studies and practice to help you hone your communication skills as a speaker and listener.
